This is an interesting paper, but much like my comments on your first draft, I'm still unclear about how one case of assault/ harassment of a woman in Spain illustrates/attests to the paradox of Hispanic masculinity?
I do agree when you mention in you research paper that Hispanic Masculinity is what we call machismo in Latino culture; when a man shows their machismo by dominating specially their wives and kids even to the point of beating them to feel better about themselves. In my opinion it shows how insecure some man can be that they have the need to degrade their woman to feel empowered and “machos.” They need to feel better about themselves by showing how tough they are, to gain respect among their friends.
